  • Stuart Plant - Commercial Manager

    Stuart joined Fusion IP from GE Healthcare, where he led the development of the company's in vitro diagnostics portfolio for MDx R&D. He became a founder member of GE's Global Biotechnology Research Council which was tasked with developing innovation through greater integration of the GE business.  He also held a number of senior positions including Head of Cellular and Molecular Biology for their Medical Imaging business.  Prior to this Stuart established a research laboratory in New Zealand as a Fellow for Diabetes UK, where he studied diabetes in the native Maori population.  He gained his PhD from University of Nottingham while developing intravascular stent technology for Sulzer-Vascutek Ltd and holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacology from Cardiff University.

  • Craig Richardson - Portfolio Licensing Manager

    Prior to joining Fusion IP Craig was an Investment Manager at Inventages, one of the world's largest healthcare focused venture capital funds.  He has also worked in business development for a number of early-stage life science companies and in new product development for Glaxo Wellcome.  Craig has a first class honours degree in Pharmacy from Cardiff University and a PhD from the School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham.  He also holds an MBA with distinction from the University of Warwick where he was awarded a Sainsbury Management Fellowship from the Royal Academy of Engineering.

  • Dominic Griffiths - Portfolio Investment Manager

    Dominic joined Fusion IP in 2007 and is responsible for new businesses arising from the Life Sciences portfolio of Fusion IP Cardiff Limited.  He holds directorships of Fusion IP Cardiff Limited, Abcellute Limited, Asalus Medical Instruments Limited and Progenteq Limited.  He is also Managing Director of Asalus.  Before joining Fusion IP Dominic was responsible for business development activities of an AIM-listed drug delivery company.  Prior to this he was a management consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, where he specialised in strategy and business transformation projects working with blue chip clients.  Dominic holds a PhD in biochemistry.

  • Andy Cheer - Business Manager

    A senior manager with breadth of experience growing a number of new technology electronics start up companies.  Key experience includes leading the team that developed the first European digital mobile phones for Vodafone, developing a range of FMCG products for a new business unit of NEC Japan, building a new mobile phone network for Dolphin, and growing start up companies in digital forensics, silicon device design and commercial business consultancy.
