  • Dominic Griffiths - Portfolio Investment Manager

    Dominic joined Fusion IP in 2007 and is responsible for new businesses arising from the Life Sciences portfolio of Fusion IP Cardiff Limited.  He holds directorships of Fusion IP Cardiff Limited, Abcellute Limited, Asalus Medical Instruments Limited and Progenteq Limited.  He is also Managing Director of Asalus.  Before joining Fusion IP Dominic was responsible for business development activities of an AIM-listed drug delivery company.  Prior to this he was a management consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, where he specialised in strategy and business transformation projects working with blue chip clients.  Dominic holds a PhD in biochemistry.

  • Carl Griffiths - Commercial Manager (Physical Sciences)

    Recruited to FusionIP in January 2009 to manage the growing Physical Sciences pipeline, Carl had spent the previous nine years as Managing Director and Founder of Optical Reference Systems (ORS) Ltd.  Prior to ORS Ltd, Carl was a Principal Engineer for BICC Cables/Pirelli with group responsibility for research and development in materials and the group's Analytical Services department.  Carl has a strong technical background with a PhD in Solid State Physcis and a 1st class degree in Physics.

  • Andy Cheer - Business Manager

    A senior manager with breadth of experience growing a number of new technology electronics start up companies.  Key experience includes leading the team that developed the first European digital mobile phones for Vodafone, developing a range of FMCG products for a new business unit of NEC Japan, building a new mobile phone network for Dolphin, and growing start up companies in digital forensics, silicon device design and commercial business consultancy.

  • Andrew Tingey - Portfolio Licensing Manager

    Andrew joined Fusion in January 2007 to manage the development of early stage life science commercial opportunities and is now Fusion's Portfolio Licensing Manager with responsibility for out-licensing opportunities.  Andrew previously worked at RSSL, a leading independent analysis and consultancy company serving the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, and was instrumental in the development of a portfolio of new service businesses within the company.  Andrew also lead the commercialisation of life science opportunities at the University of York for two years.  Andrew holds a first class degree in Biochemistry from the University of York, a PhD from the University of Leicester and recently graduated with an MBA from the Open University.
