Medaphor designs and develops ultrasound training solutions based on multi-media and computer based simulations systems. It sells a range of web based e-learning modules, training courses and is about to launch its new ultrasound training simulator, which bridges the training gap that exists when students move from the textbook to the patient. The trans-vaginal ScanTrainer, which is the first of three ultrasound simulators, was developed with the financial assistance of SMARTCymru.
MedaPhor is currently completing a £325k funding round to launch ScanTrainer to the global ultrasound training market.
